There comes a time for every vampire, when the idea of eternity becomes momentarily unbearable. Living and feeding in the shadows with only your own company rots into a solitary, hollow existence. Immortality seems like a good idea, until you realize your going to spend it alone. So I slept, hoping that the sounds of the passing eras would fade out, and a sort of death might happen. But as I lay there, the world didn’t sound like the place I had left, but something different. Better.

Forever knight
A drama about an 800 year old, angst ridden vampire who lives in present
day Toronto as a homicide detective in an attempt to repay for his sins
and regain his mortality, with the aid of Natalie Lambert, a mortal
coroner, while trying to keep his secret from his partner. His quests
are hindered by his tormented past and his seductive 2000 year old
master, Lucien Lacroix.
